We’re awesome for a number of reasons! The mission behind our product – to make video content accessible – is at the heart of everything we do as a company. The passion for creating a more accessible web makes the work exciting and gratifying and propels the team to constantly strive for more.

Working for a purpose

It’s important to us at 3Play to keep accessibility top of mind. Recently we got together one afternoon and spent our lunchtime doing hands-on activities to remind us why we do what we do. We tried on vision simulation goggles to learn more about various degrees of vision loss, learned some new words in American Sign Language, and shared stories of some of the incredible people we have interviewed through our Faces Behind the Screen storytelling project.

At 3Play Media, we really value collaboration and innovation. We are a dynamic start-up company, where everyone brings something unique and valuable to the table. The environment affords individuals opportunities to learn, develop, and grow.

The 3Play office is located in a fun and up-and-coming area of Boston’s Seaport (and right next door to Flour Bakery!) Fort Point has a lot to offer. There are plenty of nearby coffee shops to get a caffeine boost or pastry, lots of options for going out to lunch or grabbing a drink with colleagues after work. In the warmer months, it’s perfect to take a lunchtime walk around the harbor or just enjoy people (and dog) watching. Fort Point also lends itself nicely to our company social outings, with a new King’s bowling nearby, and new spots are constantly popping up to discover during our annual scavenger hunt around the Seaport.

Built In’s “Best Places to Work” list rates companies based on their employee benefits and employee submitted compensation data. Companies are then scored and ranked in each of the categories to determine the list.
